FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Are the patterns written instructions or crochet / knitting symbol charts?
    All of our patterns are written instructions, using USA Standard English terms. Some of our patterns "may" include a crochet chart in the pages, if it was needed for added detail, or was perhaps a generation one pattern. However, this is the exception and not the rule. All of our written patterns do include helpful photos to visually status the steps or to explain a unique stitch, as well as provide tutorial detail.
  • What is the skill level required to successfully complete the pattern projects?
    The skill level required or suggested is included in the description of each pattern listing. This is only a general guide as skill is somewhat subjective. The ratings are based on how many stitch types are needed if there are any special stitches used. Every attempt has been made to offer each pattern in a easy to read, helpful organization to ensure success in creating the final physical product when followed closely. Your success will depend on your careful attention to each pattern instructions and also on your personal experience level. Should you encounter any confusion or wish to request support, we answer all emails within 24 hours and attempt to provide as much support and guidance possible via email only.
  • Are any of the patterns available in a language other than English?
    Unfortunately not at this time. All of our patterns are written in USA English only.
  • Where can I find my pattern purchase?
    Should you have difficulty locating your download link, please check the following: * Your email spam folder as too often order confirmation emails end up here. * Login to your Cali Chic baby account (it is recommended you create one) and look at order history. In order history you can access your download link that is saved with your order.
  • Do you allow refunds?
    Refunds are not available unless the customer has a compelling case. For example, the pattern was expected in a foreign language, or duplicate patterns were purchased by mistake. At the end of the day, if you are not happy, we are not happy! So email us and we'll do our best to make things right.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    We accept all major credit cards, Paypal and various other payment methods as listed in the Payments Section of our Store Policy.
  • Can I exchange patterns?
    We are always happy to "exchange" your pattern choice for another pattern for any of the following reasons: * You bought a particular pattern by mistake (for instance, knit versus crochet) * You didn't understand the skill level required and wish to try a more suitable pattern * You simply didn't like the pattern for any reason once you received it. This is subject to a case by case approval so that this accommodation is not abused.
